In a horoscope (kundali), the 7th House or Seventh House is the House of spouse or marriage House. The 4th House or Fourth House from 7th Seventh House i.e. 10th House or Tenth House belongs to mother-in-law.

In the female’s horoscope, Jupiter is the husband so the 4th House from Jupiter is the House of husband’s mother.

According to vastu shastra, the newlyweds’ bedroom (couples bedroom) should be in the SouthWest or South or West direction of the house (main plot). It is said that these directions will increase love, intimacy and understanding for newlyweds and even for couples looking to restart love after some misunderstanding or dispute.
