Vastu for Keeping Cow at Home

The North-West direction is the the best location for the cowshed as per Vastu. If there is no place at North-West direction, then South-East and South-West directions can also be used to keep cows at home.

Note:

  1. Don’t keep cattle/cows in North-East direction.
  2. The cows face should be towards North or East or North-East direction.
  3. The entrance of the cow shed should also be in North or East direction.
  4. The cowshed roof should slant towards the East direction.
  5. The floor of the cowshed should be higher than the floor of the main home.
  6. The slanting of the cowshed roof should be in North or East directions. At any cost, the slanting should not be in South or West directions.
  7. The cattle can stay at North-East, but shed should not be constructed at North-East.

South-West corner is best for keeping fodder, farm equipment and other machinery. Water pond or water source or water storage or drinking water for cows should be in North-East area.

Pregnant cows should be kept in in North or East direction. They should never be kept in South-East corner of the cowshed.

Grow Tulsi, Marigold and Jasmine around Cows

Tulsi and aromatic flowers should be grown around the cowshed. Tulsi should be planted towards North-East corner of the cowshed and marigold should be planted across the main entrance, on both side of the entrance. Note that rose should not be grown adjacent to the cowshed because it has thorns and may harm the cows and calves.
